This blog was written by five college students. We all signed up to take an Urban Life class and our on going assignment in the class was to respond to prompts from our teacher and then post them onto this blog. Our assignments all had to do with going to places in New York City and thinking about aspects of the city that we had never thought of before. We used books and articles that we read as references in writing about the real life experiences we had in the places we went. While some of our assignments were more exciting than others, we all agree that we learned a lot of things about the city, but one of the most important things we learned is that there will always be more things to learn about this city. We learned that there are so many things to do here, people to see and places to discover. As a group, we feel that this blog is just a small exploration of our large city and what it has to offer and we hope that anyone who reads our experiences are inspired to go out and learn new things about the city. The possibilities are endless and we all hope that reading this blog will ignite passion in others to go find all of the possibilities!
